A Sega homebrew dev. Sega Xtreme page.
Emerald Nova: What names are you known by in the Sega Xtreme and Sega Homebrew community?
ateam: ateam, ate4m, derek.
Emerald Nova: When did you come into the Sega Xtreme and Sega Homebrew community?
ateam: 2001 for general Sega homebrew, 2015 for Sega Xtreme.
Emerald Nova: How did you find the community?
ateam: Word of mouth.
Emerald Nova: What projects you have contributed to in some form? Who did you work with on these projects?
ateam: DC English translations: Neon Genesis Evangelion - Typing Project E, Taxi 2 - The Game (Patrick from Shiro encoded the subtitled FMVs, Prof_gLX and Vince translated the spoken French into English for me [not SX members]). For the Saturn, I wrote a tool years ago to rip a game from a disc drive, split it up, generate PAR2s, and then upload it to the Sega Saturn usenet groups. Also wrote a small utility to do Saturn ISO region-patching. Both of these utilities are lost in time.
Emerald Nova: Is there anyone you think is in danger of being forgotten or lost to time that made contributions to the community?
ateam: Nothing comes to mind, sorry.
Emerald Nova: Is there anything else you could think of that should make it into the Saturn Homebrew history pages?
ateam: Nothing comes to mind, sorry.
Emerald Nova: Do you have any previous history in game development or the game industry?
ateam: My development background is not in the game industry.
Emerald Nova: Thank you for your time!
