A musician and artist.
Emerald Nova: What names are you known by in the Sega Xtreme and Sega Homebrew community?
astraljunkie: I'm astraljunkie (which is actually my former DJ name) on the SXT forums and Discord. Otherwise, I'm new in the community. You can also call me Amber.
Emerald Nova: When did you come into the Sega Xtreme and Sega Homebrew community?
astraljunkie: Probably February 2021 or so. Though I've read about homebrew and lurked around the community for years.
Emerald Nova: How did you find the community?
astraljunkie: Emerald Nova's coding streams on YouTube. Though I'd heard of the forum before.
Emerald Nova: What projects you have contributed to in some form? Who did you work with on these projects?
astraljunkie: Since I'm new, I haven't officially contributed yet, but have multiple project ideas and plan to contribute homebrew for the 2021 competition. I'm planning to build a Docker-based build system that works with any libraries and runs on all platforms to eliminate build headaches, especially for newbies.
Emerald Nova: Is there anyone you think is in danger of being forgotten or lost to time that made contributions to the community?
astraljunkie: Haven't been around long enough to answer this one.
Emerald Nova: Is there anything else you could think of that should make it into the Saturn Homebrew history pages?
astraljunkie: Not sure! :)
Emerald Nova: Do you have any previous history in game development or the game industry?
astraljunkie: No professional experience in the games industry, though I currently work in web/server development and Linux administration. I also won a programming contest back in high school for a toy game engine I wrote, and did the music and pixel art for.
Emerald Nova: Thank you for your time!
